In Sharon, Pennsylvania on October 20, 2000.  The Original Soul Stirrers were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.  They were also inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame in Detroit, Michigan on October 21, 2000.  The event is hosted annually be the Gospel Music Hall of Fame
